Galvanizing Layer
The thickness of galvanizing layer determines the anti-corrosion property of the plating piece.
For the thin steel plate with the thickness of less than 3 mm with smooth surface, it is difficult to get the thicker plating in the industrial production.
In addition, if the thickness of the galvanizing layer is unsuited to the thickness of steel sheet, it will impact the combination force between the plating and basal material and appearance and quality of plating.
The excessively thick plating will make the plating rough and easy to peeling, and the plating cannot bear the collision during the transportation and installation process.
If the steel sheet contains more active silicon and phosphorous, for the content of silicon in the steel will affect the growth method of alloy layer in the galvanized iron, and the galvanized iron alloy layer will rapidly grow to pull it to the plating surface, so that the plating surface becomes rough and dull and forms the dark plating with poor adhesion, it is also difficult to get the thicker plating in the industrial production.
